Fee Structure

Please refer to the Fees Schedule that is attached to your child’s enrolment form for the full outline of the fee structure, including part time and full time childcare options.

Invoices are issued fortnightly and we encourage payments to pay by automatic payment however credit cards, cash and eftpos are also accepted. Parents must give at least two weeks notice before withdrawing their child and at least one week’s notice if you wish to change your session days. Session time changes must be in writing. Please ask the Manager for the appropriate form. We are happy to email this form to you.

Where there are 2 or more children, from the same family, attending at the same time Kidstown offers a 10% discount on the older child’s fees.

20 Hours ECE

Kidstown has always been part of the Government’s 20 hours programme, so if your child is 3 they are entitled to the 20 hour subsidy. The first 20 hours are free up to 6 hours each day for the first four days.

Please note the 20 Hour Early Childhood Education subsidy does not cover the full cost of our programme, as we aim to provide a level of care and education greater than that set down by Government regulations. The Government recently removed the word “Free” from the name of this scheme in acknowledgement of the fact that the subsidy is insufficient. At Kidstown we have included a $10 sessional contribution for each morning or afternoon 3-4 year old session. This is to help us cover the costs of our programme.

Work and Income Subsidy

WINZ subsidies for childcare are available for fee assistance depending on the level of your total family income. Please talk to staff regarding this. This subsidy is only part payment for fees and parents must meet the balance. Full fees will be charged until the Centre receives the WINZ subsidy
